‘Head Switching Noise (Recollections)’ is a series of artworks based on collective audiovisual memories — memories of events from the twentieth century, as captured by cameras, stored on video tape, and subsequently viewed by millions of viewers worldwide, over and over again.

These collective audiovisual memories have been translated into abstract contexts of colours, shapes and sounds. The artworks explore how memories change and deteriorate over time — both in our human brains and on analog media.
